Nitin Nangare

Nitin Nangare graduated at the top of his class in art in 1990 and proceeded to show his work in group as well as solo shows in India and abroad. He has been awarded the Bombay Art Society award as well as The Art Society of India award among many others.

Born in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra in 1968, he received his Graduation Diploma in Commercial Art (First Class) in 1990. He has held solo exhibitions like the ‘Balgandharva Kala Dalan’ (1993), Khushboo Art Gallery, Shyam Ahuja Showroom (Nag Foundation), Malaka Spice and HSBC Art Gallery. He has held similar shows at Nehru Centre Art Gallery, Jehangir Art Gallery, Pradarshk Art Gallery, Shrushti Art Gallery, and most recently, Collector’s Paradise Art Gallery, Mumbai and Gallery G, Bangalore. He has participated in group shows at Gallery Art Recourse Trust, Singapore, Dubai and San Fransciso; MF Hussian’s ‘Jiyo Hazaaron Saal’ at Studio S, Pune (2004), and TAO Art Gallery, Mumbai (2005). He has received many awards from Nasik Kala Niketan, Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalaya (1989) besides the Bombay Art Society Award, (1993), The Art Society of India Award (1994,’95), Maharashtra State Award
(1994) and Rohan Prarthana Award (2002).
