KARMA TENRAB

Born in 1980, his childhood was spent in Sikkim where he was constantly exposed to Buddhist culture and influenced by it. During his academic period in Baroda his inner search for Buddhism led him to take refuge with Bod Rimponche. His association with the Llamas led to a series of black and white canvasses on Buddhist themes. Karma’s inspiration and fascination with the Buddhist experience continues to express it through his canvases and sculptures. From 2005-2007 he lived in Shantiniketan amongst the tribes, in the village of Boner Pukar Danga.

Karma has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in India and abroad.
