FAWAD TAMKANAT

Born in 1962 in a poet's family in India. Acquired a Master's Degree in Fine Arts, after graduating in Commerce. Has held many solo and group shows in India and abroad.Has also participated in International Installation Workshop TIDE, Denmark 1996. Has worked with renowned Europeon print makers in print making workshops in 1996 and 1999. Has worked in residence at Graphic Studio Kirsten Kjaers Museum Denmark 2001. Recipient of the University Gold medals in B.F.A. and M.F.A. at the Central University, Hyderabad, India. His works are in the collections of NGMA, New Delhi; Vingsted Centre, Denmark; Peter Mullers's Collection, Germany; Prof. Tomleigh's Collection, U.S.A; Lalit Kala Academy New Delhi; and many public and private collection in India and abroad. Lives and works in Hyderabad.
