Anni Kumari is an artist who explores geometry, functional mathematics and their interrelation with geography through her works.
She studied Politics at Miranda House and Painting at the College of Art, Delhi University. Her works have been exhibited at various institutions and galleries in India, including the German Embassy, British Council, Alliance Francaise, India International Centre, Art District XIII, Art Positive (Delhi), OED Gallery (Kochi) and LalithKala Academy (Kozhikode).
Anni is a recipient of fellowships and grants from the Lalit Kala Akademi , Sahapedia-UNESCO, the Ministry of Culture( GOI) , University Grants Commission, the Artreach Trust and the Spic Macay Foundation. Several of her works are a part of various public and private collections, including the Gitanjali Mani Foundation (Bangalore), Piramal Art Foundation (Mumbai) and the Art for Change Foundation (Delhi).
She currently lives and works in Delhi.
